Heading to Clear Lake in Seguin, to the Tribe family cottage felt a bit like going home, even though I’d never been before. I knew that it was going to be an extraordinarily special day. This gorgeous, incredibly in-love couple met one summer at the young age of 18, while both working at Lick’s, just outside Parry Sound. Before they knew it, summer love stretched into the school year, and there was no looking back. Their wedding was a sweet, intimate affair, shared between themselves, family and close friends. Walking in, I couldn’t help but notice the long, harvest table right away, so everyone sat and enjoyed a great meal all at the same table.
From the harvest table, to the hanging lights, personalized pint glasses and so much more, not a detail was missed.
I find that one of my favourite things about small weddings is that they lend themselves to especially tender moments. Such as Scott’s first dance with his grandmother and the heartfelt speeches. They also somehow feel a little more at ease, and that’s exactly what the vibe was on this beautiful day at the end of August. I’ll leave you with a few more of my favorite moments from the day, and with a big congrats to the newlyweds!
